The construction techniques of insulation materials

2025-12-30

Vulcanized microsphere mortar

(1) First, cut the steel mesh to the predetermined size, ensuring that the cut length falls within the partition groove.

(2) Apply a 2-3 mm thick anti-crack (surface coating) mortar to the insulation layer, and then use anchor bolts to neatly attach the steel mesh.

(3) The hot-dip galvanized steel wire mesh is generally used vertically. The overlap width at the joint should not be less than 5 cm.

Inorganic insulation

1. Construction Preparation

After the engineering acceptance of the base wall, if it meets the quality standards, before construction, the dust, dirt, oil stains, etc. on the base wall surface should be cleaned thoroughly to make the surface smooth.

2. Construction Key Points

Inorganic active wall insulation and heat insulation material - Grade A non-combustible green energy-saving product configuration: Mix the product with water in a ratio of 1.5:1. After mixing, let it stand for 5 to 15 minutes until it reaches a suitable state for operation.

B Inorganic Active Wall Insulation and Heat Insulation Materials - Grade A Non-combustible Green Energy-saving Product Usage: First, use clean water to remove the dust and oil stains from the base surface of the wall and make it moderately moist. Then, directly apply the mixed product onto the base wall or the already applied cement mortar surface. The first coat should be applied evenly and densely to cover the wall, with a thickness of about 10mm. When the moisture content of the first coat material is approximately 50%, the second coat can be applied. The application thickness should be controlled between 10-20mm. Achieve a firm bond, no hollowing out, and no cracking.

The general product can be applied in one go within a thickness range of 20mm, and can be applied in two layers within a thickness range of 30mm. It can also be constructed in an internal and external composite manner, which can not only save the material costs and labor costs of applying cement mortar on both the inside and outside, but also shorten the construction period, achieving multiple benefits in one go. The initial setting time is about 2 hours. All procedures can be completed on the same day. After 7 days, the tiles can be pasted, and after 10 days, the coating surface treatment can be carried out. If the base wall is a concrete shear wall, the conventional interface mortar brushing treatment needs to be done one day in advance. It is recommended to hang nets (glass fiber nets or galvanized steel wire nets) at the joints of the shear wall to alleviate problems caused by different expansion and contraction coefficients of the base wall materials.

C: Quality Inspection: The construction of the base wall and insulation layer must meet the relevant standards. There must be no detachment, hollowing out, cracks or other issues between each structural layer.

3. Construction Process

The process of exterior wall external insulation or internal insulation coating finish and ceramic tile finish: Base treatment (for smooth concrete walls, conventional interface mortar should be used) → Layout, vertical alignment, marking control lines, making grooves, making edges, re-inspection → Apply the product → Mark the grid lines, make grid grooves, embed the drip channels → Finish with coating (cement tiles).
